Your priorities are my priorities

🏫 EDUCATION: Fund Our Future, Close Loopholes

  • Fully fund public education and special education. No more waiting.
  • Close the 77 tax loopholes allowing corporations and the wealthy to benefit while our children are neglected.
  • Give our kids in D91 and Bonneville Joint District 93 the resources they deserve, not empty promises from Boise.
  • Support teachers through loan forgiveness programs and competitive salaries—the same things that attract teachers to neighboring states.

đź’° FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY: Invest in Communities

  • True fiscal responsibility means investing in working families, not continually providing tax cuts that disproportionately benefit the wealthy.
  • State revenue should better fund roads, public safety, and infrastructure without shifting additional burdens to homeowners and renters.
  • It’s time to stop letting the state legislature engage in fiscally irresponsible policies that only cut revenue without investing in the policies and people that pay dividends in economic prosperity.

🏥 HEALTHCARE: Protect Our Care

  • Defend Medicaid expansion. Idaho voters passed it, and we won’t let politicians take it away.
  • Here in Idaho Falls, that means protecting access at EIRMC, supporting working families, and keeping rural healthcare alive.
  • Medicare for All is a federal fight, but there’s plenty we can do locally. I’ll fight to lower costs and protect the care we already have.
  • Women’s reproductive health matters. We need to protect women’s bodily autonomy and return to a time when medical decisions were made between a woman and her care provider.

🏡 HOUSING: You Should Be Able to Afford a Roof

  • Housing is a human right. No one who works in Idaho Falls should be priced out of living here.
  • Expand first-time homebuyer programs and utilize the Affordable Housing Fund that the legislature instituted but has never properly implemented.
  • Encourage cities to focus on nonprofit efforts to provide affordable housing and limit the number of homes corporate landlords can own in our state.
